Tulasi's pov

I was sitting infront of the mirror. My mother-in-law and nalini were adorning me with jewels and little makeup. I have no idea what's happening. I just sat there quietly.

Then my mother-in-law handed me a glass of milk. I was confused, and i looked at her.

"Don't forget to give this to Indra first. After he finishes half of the glass, you have the rest half. Understood?" Maa ji said.

"j..ji, maa ji. But, why can't He drink the whole glass? I can always drink later on." I said so innocently. I was genuinely curious.

"bahu Rani, this ritual is important. After today, no matter what your husband does, you'll never reject him or push him away.Okay?" She said. Indra ji also said the same thing yesterday. But I was obedient... I..I can't just let anyone touch me inappropriately.

As she stepped inside the room, Indra turned his head towards her while sitting on the flower-decorated bed. She slowly walked towards him and forwarded the glass of milk towards him.

He took it and started drinking it in a hurry. Tulasi remembered her mother-in-law's words.

"J..ji, d.. don't drink the whole glass. Maa ji told me to drink the other half." Tulasi spoke nervously.

Indra stops drinking and wipes his mouth with his hand. Then passes the glass back to her. Tulasi was hesitant but she gulped down the other half of the milk and set the glass aside.

Now she just stood there until Indra grabbed her arm and pulled her onto himself. He then removed her head pallu and looked at her face.

"You're so beautiful, do you realize your beauty?" Indra said while caressing her face.

Tulasi averted her gaze from him, due to the embarrassment of their position.

"Look at me. Never look away. You're mine from now on. You'll do whatever I tell you to do, get it?" Indra said after making her look at him again by his hands.

"j..ji, Indra ji. I... I'll not object to your orders and wishes. P.. please don't beat me." Tulasi spoke while stuttering.

Indra furrowed his brows. What was she talking about? He thought. He gently caressed her neck and said.

"why would I beat you? You didn't do anything wrong. I know you'll never cross my limitations. I would never raise my hand on anyone who didn't do anything wrong. And i don't use hands on women." Indra said. Trying to make her feel a bit secure.

Tulasi was relieved after she heard that. Atleast she'll not be beaten here unlike her parental house.

He made her lay down on the bed and hovered over her. Tulasi felt intimidated by this position.

Indra kissed her forehead first and then her both cheeks. All the while tulasi was Looking at him with doe eyes. His heart was pounding in his chest. He can finally claim her.

He started kissing her neck and raking his hands all over her bare waist. Which made tulasi squirm under him. She doesn't know what's happening to her, but she can't push him away.

He pinched her waist which made tulasi groan in pain. Indra then kissed the place where he just pinched and she flinched by this act.

He was about to remove her saree but tulasi gripped onto it while gulping.

"W..why? N..no man should look at a woman without clothes. P.. please don't." She said with such innocence.

"No man but her husband." He said and pulled her saree away from her body in one go.

Tulasi tried to cover her body with her hands but Indra didn't let her do it. He started prepping kisses on her collarbone.

Tulasi started struggling under him, which made Indra pissed.

"Didn't I tell you to not defy your husband? I have full rights over you. I'll be gentle as long as you comply. If you don't, then.... Let's just say you don't wanna experience that side of me" Indra said in a threatening way.

Tulasi was scared but she had to listen to her husband. That's how the society worked at that time. If she didn't listen to him, she thought he might raise his hand on her and kick her out of the house. She gulped and complied with his advances thinking about all the negative impacts if she didn't listen to him.

Indra smirked and started biting her neck with hickeys. Tulasi let out a squeak because of it. Indra could sense that it was hurting her, so he started licking the red area.
